We have just completed our project in collaboration with filmmaker Mikhail Zheleznikov Моя Америка (My America) at The Museum of The Moving Image in New York. The show is open until June 7th, 2012.

We had the Brighton Beach Memory Exchange on the Boardwalk in Brooklyn, New York. During this public art performance, we bartered memories for paintings with the neighborhood residents.

We have started a blog for our project Моя Америка (My America) about the residents of New York City who are from the former Soviet Republics. The project is sponsored by CEC Artslink's One Big City initiative with a grant from The Rockefeller Foundation. The project is a collaboration between Daniel Gallegos and Mikhail Zhileznikov
